Light the path, not next door
Under floors and behind walls

Home charging, planned around the driveway.
A domestic EV charger positioned for everyday use, with the cable route and supply checked first.

What stuck with them
Three example reviews written for this demo, about the details people tend to mention once the job's done.
We knew where the sockets would go and what was included before the work started.
The position and cable route were agreed before anything was fitted. It made the choice straightforward.
The path feels clear and the garden still feels calm. That was exactly the balance we wanted.
Luton, then the surrounding towns

Before you move the sofa
Is there a call-out charge?
The example weekday diagnostic visit starts at £120 and includes the first hour. An out-of-hours example starts at £180. Repairs, parts and additional time would be agreed separately. No real call-out can be requested here.
Will I receive the right paperwork?
The written scope identifies the appropriate installation certificate, condition report or notification for the work. These documents serve different purposes; an EICR records an inspection, while installation paperwork relates to the work completed.
What guarantees would be included?
A quotation should set out workmanship cover, the manufacturer warranties and how to report a problem. Ask for those terms in writing before accepting the work.
Can I get an EV charger grant?
That depends on the current scheme and your circumstances. The demo prices do not deduct a grant. Check the current GOV.UK eligibility guidance before relying on funding.
How much mess should I expect?
It depends on the work and cable routes. A rewire can involve lifting floors or opening walls. Protection, waste removal, plastering and decorating responsibilities should all be agreed in the written scope.
Do I need to arrange parking and access?
Tell the contractor about parking restrictions, permits, locked areas and tenant access before the visit. It helps the job start as planned and avoids uncertainty over additional costs.
When would payment be due?
A real quote should state any deposit, stage payments and final payment date before you accept it. This website takes no deposits or payments.
How long does electrical work take?
A straightforward fitting and a whole-house rewire need very different programmes. The survey establishes the scope, access and likely disruption before a schedule is agreed. The dates shown here are examples.
