FAQs
What gets lifted?
Does old wiring always need replacing?
No. Age alone does not decide whether a rewire is needed. Inspection and testing help establish its condition and what work is appropriate.
Can I stay at home during the work?
Sometimes, but expect disruption and planned periods without power. Tell us about home working, children or medical equipment so the plan can take your needs into account.
Will you plaster and decorate afterwards?
Making good is listed separately in the written scope. The example starting price excludes plastering and decorating, so there is no uncertainty about who finishes the walls.
Can you rewire just the kitchen or an extension?
Yes, subject to the condition and capacity of the existing installation. The survey checks whether the proposed work needs wider changes.
