The problem
The homeowner wanted to understand an older fuse-board setup before planning further improvements. The condition of the circuits needed checking; the appearance of the old box alone could not establish whether the installation was unsafe.
What we did
The proposed scope starts with checks of the existing installation and protective arrangements. It then covers an agreed replacement board, circuit identification, installation testing and the relevant paperwork. Any circuit repairs or additional bonding work would be priced separately.
The result
The project shows a tidy, accessible consumer unit and a handover that explains the controls. It demonstrates a planned upgrade, without claiming that a photograph proves electrical compliance.
